Digitex Micro Fiber Cloth for cleaning of various sensitive optical surfaces, lenses and glass surfaces. The micro fiber cloth is the best cleaning solution for comprehensive cleaning of lens of various optical devices. The micro fiber cloth is much more effective at cleaning glass surfaces. The diameter of its filament is less than 0.4mm and only 1/10 of silk, wedge shape, all of these properties make the job of picking up micro-dust, debris and oil very easy and efficient, keep the lenes surface bright and clean. It is particularly important for sensitive camera lenses and telescopes. It is possible to use micro-fiber cloth for dry and wet cleaning applying cleaning sprays. Digitex announces a new DataShuttle DS06 Multi 69-in-1 card-reader with SDHC support. A new card reader may be useful for those using or planing to use new video cameras with SDHC cards. The new SD format, SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) was specially designed to support capacities in excess of 2GB and uses the FAT32 format. It does not work in regular SD card readers that don’t support new format.

This SD High Capacity memory card is the newest Secure Digital 2.0 memory card standard designed to support higher capacities. With modern cameras that take images at up to 12 mega pixels, a much more storage to store all high quality photos is required.

Digitex introduces two 4 GB new SDHC format memory cards. The new SD format, SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) was specially designed to support capacities in excess of 2GB. The new card’s format uses the same form factor as SD card, but the way memory card is formated is different. The original SD cards use a FAT16 format and capable of storing up to 2 GB of data. Such a limitation was not convenient with modern high quality professional photo and video cameras and compact devices using SD cards. The new SDHC format developed by SD association uses the FAT32 format and is capable of storing a maximum capacity of 32 GB. Aside from formatting, there are no hardware differences between SD and SDHC cards. The drawback of the new SDHC cards is that it can only work with SDHC compatible host devices. Digitex 4 GB SDHC cards are fully compatible with SD Card Association’ version 2.0 SDHC memory card specification standards.

The new SDHC cards have SD Speed Class Ratings defined by the SD Association. The SD Speed Class Ratings specify the following minimum sustained write speed for SDHC cards: Class 2 - 2MB/s; Class 4 - 4MB/s; Class 6 - 6MB/s. Digitex introduces 4 GB SDHC memory cards class 2 and class 6 with plans to extend in the future capacities and class varieties of new SDHC memory cards.
